Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teofomo Laurez (ranked 4509 p4p, 4650 weight class) and Dave Zaroni (ranked 516 p4p, 521 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laurez clinches up against the cage.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Zaroni in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Laurez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zaroni's waist but Zaroni gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Laurez off to one side.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Laurez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zaroni manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Zaroni throws a right hand that Laurez ducks under and follows up with a left that Laurez also avoids with ease.
Zaroni connects with a right hand. Laurez shakes it off.
Oh Laurez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zaroni cracks Laurez with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Laurez falls to his knees and Zaroni doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
