Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Silva (ranked 1745 p4p, 1259 weight class) and David Oneil (ranked 210 p4p, 153 weight class). Oneil has chosen Metallica - Spit Out The Bone as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Silva. Oneil shrugs it off though.
Oneil fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oneil is working to tighten his grip on Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Oneil is really squeezing tight and eventually Silva passes out! Oneil breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
