Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Cabrazzi (ranked 3195 p4p, 2415 weight class) and Trevor Gully (ranked 161 p4p, 125 weight class). Cabrazzi comes to the cage accompanied by Falling Under Again by Buff Justice. Gully is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: E G G (JUMBO GRADE A CARTON OF MELODY). Lou Cabrazzi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lou Cabrazzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trevor Gully!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrazzi stuffs the takedown attempt from Gully. Gully gets slowly back to his feet.
Gully misses with a takedown
and Cabrazzi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cabrazzi enables Gully to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cabrazzi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Gully tries to free his leg and advance position but Cabrazzi is retaining full guard.
Gully working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gully lands a couple of elbows.
Cabrazzi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cabrazzi tries to get out of the position.
Gully trying to control but Cabrazzi is working from the bottom.
Gully pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cabrazzi is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gully trying to control the position from guard on top but Cabrazzi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gully pushes down on Cabrazzi's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Gully wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cabrazzi keeps working.
Gully looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Gully is stalling here. Cabrazzi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gully seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cabrazzi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Gully's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gully manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cabrazzi's best efforts.
Gully wants to improve his position but Cabrazzi is controlling well.

Gully wants to control but Cabrazzi is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Gully wants to get back to full guard.
Gully is pressing down on Cabrazzi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gully wants to sweep but no luck.
Cabrazzi wants to stand but Gully is controlling his posture from full guard.
Cabrazzi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gully looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cabrazzi is one step ahead there.
Cabrazzi tries to stand but Gully is controlling from the bottom.
Gully wants to improve his position but instead Cabrazzi has moved into half guard.

Gully gets back to full guard.

Gully looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cabrazzi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gully is proving hard to escape from.
Gully looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cabrazzi is one step ahead there.
Gully looking to control.
Gully is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Gully has a takedown stuffed.
Lou Cabrazzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Gully.
Gully shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cabrazzi as he jumps to the side.
Lou Cabrazzi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gully.
Gully fails with the takedown.
Cabrazzi throwing a counter right hand but Gully manages to avoid it.
We've been told by Cabrazzi's head coaches at Rough House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gully closes the distance and clinches up with Cabrazzi, looking for a takedown. Gully pushes Cabrazzi against the cage but Cabrazzi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gully misses with a takedown
and Cabrazzi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cabrazzi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A lazy left from Cabrazzi finds it's target.
Cabrazzi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It seemed like Gully was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lou Cabrazzi dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Gully doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cabrazzi counters with a straight right hand.
Gully fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lou Cabrazzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Gully.
No luck for Gully with that takedown attempt.

Gully closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gully is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cabrazzi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gully prevents Cabrazzi from standing back up.
Trevor Gully has got the better of the ground game so far.

Gully is looking to advance position but Cabrazzi won't allow it.

Cabrazzi kicks Gully off and gets back to his feet.
Cabrazzi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Gully bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Cabrazzi is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Cabrazzi trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Gully working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gully working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Gully is trying to ground and pound but Cabrazzi uses the momentary lack of control by Gully to regain half guard.
Gully controlling the action here.
Gully missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Gully is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cabrazzi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gully.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gully wants to pass the guard but Cabrazzi is defending well.
Cabrazzi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gully can do to turn this around?
Gully thows a huge punch but Cabrazzi dodges it nicely.
Gully is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Gully lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gully throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gully looks to land a strike but Cabrazzi avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Gully engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Gully drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cabrazzi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gully has Cabrazzi in his guard.

Gully seems keen to control Cabrazzi's posture.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cabrazzi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gully's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lou Cabrazzi will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Gully doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Cabrazzi scores with a jab.
Gully shoots in but no luck this time.
Cabrazzi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gully on the side of the head.
Cabrazzi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gully misses with a takedown
enabling Cabrazzi to counter with a crisp jab.

Gully fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lou Cabrazzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Gully.
Cabrazzi scores with a nice strike.
Cabrazzi thuds his right hand into Gully's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gully shoots in but Cabrazzi avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Cabrazzi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Cabrazzi digs a good hook to Gully's body.
Gully takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Cabrazzi counters with a nice uppercut.

Gully is rocked!
OH! Gully has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Cabrazzi smells blood and charges in for the finish! Cabrazzi unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Gully sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lou Cabrazzi!
Our winner, Lou Cabrazzi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
