Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Mahogany (ranked 2994 p4p, 22750 weight class) and Peter Golles (ranked 370 p4p, 562 weight class). Mahogany comes to the cage accompanied by Litty. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mahogany.
Golles is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mahogany asserts his dominance and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mahogany wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Golles, who protects the arm well.

Mahogany tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mahogany has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Golles is trying to buck Mahogany off.
Mahogany creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Golles is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mahogany asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Mahogany has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Golles is not content to let Mahogany control the position.

Golles pushes Mahogany away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mahogany gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Mahogany's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mahogany is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Golles looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mahogany gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Golles is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mahogany lets go of the hold and Golles can pop his arm back in it's socket.
