With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ripley West!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West misses with a double jab.
West doesn't manage to clinch there - Simons circles away.
West wants to clinch.
West lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Simons at a distance.
Simons paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
West looks to land a combination but Simons avoids it well.
West staying out of range there.
West blocks a jab.
West lands with a right hand.
Simons cracks West with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jab, jab by Simons - just one landing.
Simons circles away from the clinch attempt.
Good work by Simons as he checks the leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Simons closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks West out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
