Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Green (ranked 694 p4p, 228 weight class) and Nikolay Leonov (ranked 37 p4p, 14 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolay Leonov!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Green misses
and Leonov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Leonov lands a jab.
Green avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Leonov displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Leonov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Green.
Leonov is looking to chop away at Green's legs.
Leonov wants to slow Green down by chopping away at his legs.
Green tries for a takedown but Leonov circles away easily
and Leonov counters with a leg kick.
Green swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Green misses with a takedown attempt - Leonov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Green manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Leonov on his heels. He'll look to pass Leonov's guard now, I'm sure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Green wants to pass the guard but Leonov is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leonov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leonov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Green's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Green looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Leonov wanted to stand there but Green had control of the position.

Green is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Leonov has his hands clasped together but Green extends and breaks Leonov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Green.
