Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karel Sup (ranked 2591 p4p, 2545 weight class) and Mitsugu Takeishi (ranked 121 p4p, 136 weight class). Takeishi has chosen Kabuki Gomen-Jyo as his entrance music. Mitsugu Takeishi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Karel Sup!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitsugu Takeishi!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeishi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sup.
Sup throws a combination. Takeishi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Takeishi moves in looking to clinch but Sup pushes him off.
Sup lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Takeishi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sup.
Takeishi misses with a straight left.
Sup is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Takeishi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Takeishi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sup throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sup will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Takeishi! But no joy.
Sup catches Takeishi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Sup looks to land a combination but Takeishi avoids it well.
Sup uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Takeishi.

Takeishi cracks Sup with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sup looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Takeishi finish him?

Sup is rocked!
Some wild striking there from Sup.
Takeishi wants to counter the offense by Sup and move into the clinch position.
Oh Sup is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No joy there for Sup, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Takeishi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Takeishi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sup.
Takeishi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sup is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Sup is breathing heavily.
Takeishi ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Sup's jaw. Sup's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Takeishi does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
