Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson jabs Patterson right on the nose. Patterson blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Opaltooth Patterson has been cut.
Patterson staying out of range there.
Patterson moves out of range of the strikes.

Patterson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Johnson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Patterson dives into side control.

You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Patterson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Johnson to his feet.
Johnson throws a jab when Patterson was well out of range.
Patterson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Johnson misses with a wild combination.

Johnson drops Patterson with a beautiful combination! Patterson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Johnson is looking for the KO!

Crack! Johnson connects with the perfect overhand right and Patterson falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Johnson!
