Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Williams (ranked 3002 p4p, 3883 weight class) and Jake Paulson (ranked 365 p4p, 435 weight class). Jake Paulson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Paulson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulson moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off.
Paulson lands a jab to the nose.
Williams has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Williams takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Paulson tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range.
Paulson lands with a right hand.
Paulson stuffs the takedown.
Paulson misses with a lunging right hand
and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. Paulson didn't expect that.
Paulson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Williams shoots in for a takedown but Paulson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Paulson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Paulson moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off.

Williams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Paulson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Williams tries to score a body lock takedown but Paulson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Williams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Paulson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Paulson clinches with his opponent.
Williams has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Paulson after a bit of a struggle.
Paulson gets underhooks to prevent Williams's takedown attempt.
Williams wants a takedown but no success here.
Williams has Paulson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Paulson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Paulson landing knees to the head.
Paulson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Paulson drops Williams with a big knee straight up the middle! Williams is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Williams is rocked!
Paulson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Williams's defenses. It connects perfectly with Williams's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
