The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammad has taken the fight to the clinch.
Muhammad decides to pull guard.
Gunma stops Muhammad from standing up.
Gunma drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gunma jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gunma sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Muhammad's guard.
Gunma wants to lay and pray for a moment but Muhammad keeps working.
Gunma has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gunma takes Muhammad's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Muhammad is in trouble.

Muhammad tries to escape but Gunma has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Gunma is looking for a kimura but Muhammad is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gunma to get the leverage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Muhammad pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Muhammad shoots in for a takedown but Gunma shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Gunma shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gunma was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Muhammad is trying desperately to improve position.

Gunma lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gunma is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Muhammad is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Muhammad flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gunma anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Muhammad and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gunma slips an arm under Muhammad chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gunma has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gunma is squeezing on Muhammad like an anaconda would it's prey. Muhammad fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
