Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damian Tonon (ranked 698 p4p, 846 weight class) and Felix Suarez (ranked 105 p4p, 122 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Suarez's choice of entrance music: Mexican Sun. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damian Tonon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Suarez!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suarez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tonon walks into a left hand.
Tonon works the jab nicely.
A lazy left from Tonon finds it's target.
Tonon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tonon.
Suarez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've been informed that Suarez has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A combination from Tonon does no damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tonon shoots for a double leg takedown but Suarez sprawls well. He's pushed Tonon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've been hearing good reports from Tonon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Suarez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tonon fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Suarez to the ground. Tonon is now in Suarez's guard.

Suarez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tonon defends it easily.
