Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enokentiy Klimov (ranked 1184 p4p, 1058 weight class) and Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 179 p4p, 157 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Enokentiy Klimov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klimov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Klimov thuds his right hand into Tsuruta's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tsuruta.

Klimov bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Klimov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Tsuruta counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tsuruta.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Klimov has his feet on Tsuruta's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
We've been told by Klimov's head coaches at Shark Tank Private Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A swing and a miss from Klimov.

Tsuruta throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Klimov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Tsuruta counters with a single leg into guard. Klimov didn't expect that.
Klimov is looking to stand back up but Tsuruta counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Klimov.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tsuruta is keen to just control but Klimov is a slippery customer.
Tsuruta throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tsuruta winds up and cracks Klimov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Klimov is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tsuruta keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Tsuruta seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Klimov has hold of Tsuruta's hands but Tsuruta slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tsuruta wants to control but Klimov is keeping him busy.
Klimov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Klimov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Klimov tries to get out of the position.
Tsuruta slips a nice elbow through Klimov's hands, connecting with Klimov's forehead.

Tsuruta is trying to control the action in half guard but Klimov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tsuruta working his ground and pound in the gym.
Tsuruta drops an elbow to the side of Klimov's head.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tsuruta lands a nice short elbow.
Tsuruta thows a huge punch but Klimov dodges it nicely.

Tsuruta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tsuruta thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tsuruta tries to pass to full mount but Klimov defends it.
Tsuruta working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Klimov gets back to full guard.
Tsuruta is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Tsuruta trying to control but Klimov is working from the bottom.
Tsuruta lands a couple of decent looking shots.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tomomi Tsuruta will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Tsuruta circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tsuruta takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Tomomi Tsuruta has been cut.
Tsuruta ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fighters circling - Klimov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Klimov misses with a left hand
and Tsuruta makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Tsuruta dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A shot to the body from Tsuruta misses
and Klimov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsuruta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tsuruta shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tsuruta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tsuruta.
Enokentiy Klimov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomomi Tsuruta.
Klimov throws a good cross that connects.
Tsuruta throws a shot to the body.
Klimov misses with an uppercut.
Tsuruta falls off balance throwing a combination
and Klimov counters with a nice uppercut.
Tsuruta throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Klimov counter with a right hand.

Tsuruta is rocked!
Klimov drops Tsuruta with a straight right hand, right on the button! Klimov follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Enokentiy Klimov!
A relieved looking Enokentiy Klimov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
