Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Trouble Somer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Prezes Rail!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Somer lands the left hand.
Rail has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Somer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Somer throws an overhand right that lands on Rail's shoulder, as Rail tries to avoid the shot.
Rail ducks under a wild hook from Somer.
Somer swings for the body but Rail moves out of range.
Somer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rail now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Somer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rail moves out of range as Somer strikes.
A little jabbing left from Rail on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Somer misses with a straight left.
Somer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Good work by Somer as he checks the leg kick.
Somer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Somer takes a swing at Rail's ribcage but misses.
Somer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rail.
Rail lands a high kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Somer blocks a low kick nicely.
Somer throws a shot to the body.
Somer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Somer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rail was well out of range. Poor timing from Somer.
Somer is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Rail's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Rail fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Somer is out of range.
Rail throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A counter left hand to the body from Somer misses its target.
Somer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Somer misses with a body shot
and Rail counters with a nice leg kick.
Somer swings for the body but Rail moves out of range.
Somer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rail throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rail's coach down at St Petersburg MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rail's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Rail ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Good exchange - Somer coming out on top.
Somer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Somer misses with a lunging right hand
and Rail counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice defenses there by Rail.

Somer moves into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Somer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rail is trying to force a seperation but Somer has the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Somer.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Somer creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Somer pulls Rail into guard.
Rail trying to stand up but can't free himself from Somer's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Somer looking for a guillotine here but Rail defends easily.

Somer is looking for a triangle but Rail pushes his legs off easily.

Somer has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rail doesn't defend quickly enough and Somer has managed to lock this one up! Can Rail escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Somer on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Trouble Somer!
