Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Runar Nordgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Nordgren throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Nordgren misses with a looping right.
Morrison shoots in but Nordgren avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nordgren has managed to clinch.
Morrison is pressed up against the cage. Nordgren has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Morrison down to the mat. Morrison avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Morrison shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nordgren manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nordgren can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nordgren is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Morrison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nordgren can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nordgren is pushing down on Morrison's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morrison is fighting to maintain full guard but Nordgren has managed to sneak the leg through.

Morrison has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nordgren is working away from the top position though.
Nordgren really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morrison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
