Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Logan Barrengarry (ranked 869 p4p, 1025 weight class) and Yusuf Mammadov (ranked 115 p4p, 131 weight class). Barrengarry comes to the cage accompanied by The Young Crazed Peeling by The Distillers. Yusuf Mammadov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yusuf Mammadov!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrengarry swings widly with a right hand
enabling Mammadov to counter with a crisp jab.
Barrengarry staying out of range there.
Mammadov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Barrengarry lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Barrengarry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Logan Barrengarry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barrengarry digs a good body shot into Mammadov's ribs.
Barrengarry throws a lazy right hand but Mammadov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mammadov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Barrengarry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mammadov moves away.
Logan Barrengarry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barrengarry lands a big head kick that sends Mammadov tumbling to the mat! Barrengarry takes a step backwards and waves Mammadov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mammadov is rocked!
It looks like Yusuf Mammadov has been cut.

Mammadov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mammadov is still on wobbly legs! Can Barrengarry finish him?
Mammadov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mammadov seems to have recovered his senses.
Barrengarry cracks a nice hook into Mammadov's ribs.

Barrengarry cracks Mammadov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Mammadov scores with a sloppy right hand. Barrengarry should have avoided that one.
Barrengarry throws a monster overhand right that drops Mammadov! Barrengarry follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
