And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Wilson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jang Jai connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like The Wilson has been cut.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jang Jai as he jumps to the side.
Jang Jai is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Wilson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jang Jai to the mat! Jang Jai manages to get full guard.
Jang Jai is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Wilson looking to pass the guard.
Wilson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Jang Jai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jang Jai looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Wilson cracks Jang Jai with a solid left hand.
Jang Jai is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jang Jai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jang Jai looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Wilson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jang Jai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wilson wants to pass the guard but Jang Jai is keeping the position.
Wilson forces his way into half guard.
Jang Jai wants to improve his position but Wilson is controlling well.

Wilson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wilson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jang Jai throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jang Jai scores with a shot to the body.
The Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

and Jang Jai counters with a nice uppercut.
Wang Jang Jai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Wilson.
Wilson looks winded!
Wilson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jang Jai defends it nicely.
Jang Jai swinging wildly here.
Wilson with the counter takedown but Jang Jai avoids it easily.
Jang Jai dips to his left and cracks Wilson with an uppercut!

Jang Jai cracks Wilson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wilson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jang Jai finish him?

Wilson is rocked!

That has opened up The Wilson's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jang Jai ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Wilson's jaw. Wilson's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Jang Jai does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wang Jang Jai!
Wang Jang Jai retains his heavyweight title!
An out of breath Wang Jang Jai thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
The defeated The Wilson had this to say: 'Hard to beat a man that's 35lbs heavier than me. '.
