Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Byron Neal (ranked 2655 p4p, 2205 weight class) and Nagatsuki Hideki (ranked 335 p4p, 296 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Byron Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nagatsuki Hideki!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neal is looking to clinch.
Neal throws a lazy right hand but Hideki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Neal's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hideki under the eye.
Neal misses with a hook to the body
and Hideki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Neal thinking.
Neal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Neal tries to score with a low kick but Hideki moves his leg out of the way.
The fighters circling - Neal throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hideki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hideki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Neal.
A nice side step and Hideki releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neal lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Neal swings widly with a right hand
and Hideki counters with a left to the body.
Hideki checks the leg kick nicely there.
Neal misses with a straight left.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Neal doesn't manage to clinch there - Hideki circles away.
Neal throws a jab when Hideki was well out of range.
Hideki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Neal.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hideki! But no joy.
Neal tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hideki throws out a counter right but Neal avoids it with no problem.
Neal is looking to clinch but Hideki is avoiding it.
Neal throws out a loose jab but Hideki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Neal does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Neal connects with a leg kick.
Neal throws a hook to the side of Hideki's head but Hideki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Neal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hideki looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hideki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Neal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hideki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neal lands with an uppercut that bounces Hideki off the cage and back into range.
Hideki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hideki throws out a counter right but Neal avoids it with no problem.
Neal tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Neal misses with a body shot
and Hideki counters with a stiff right hand.
Neal throws a leg kick
and Hideki counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Neal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Neal connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hideki's hands.
Hideki uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Neal.
Hideki looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Neal, as that shot connected.
Neal looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Hideki blocks a jab.
Neal pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neal tries to clinch but Hideki moves away
and Hideki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Neal tries to clinch up.
Neal scores with a nice right hand.
Hideki takes one to the chin there.
Neal throws a sloppy body shot
and Hideki counters with a nice uppercut.
Neal lunges at Hideki with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hideki's hand.
Hideki drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Neal misses with a low kick.
A countering left hand to the body from Hideki misses.
Some bone on bone action there as Hideki checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Neal throws an off balance right hand
and Hideki counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Neal throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hideki! But no joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Neal misses with a straight left.
Hideki throws out a counter right but Neal avoids it with no problem.
Neal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hideki moves away.
Neal tries to land a front kick but Hideki steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Neal misses with a hook.
Neal throws out a leg kick but Hideki moves out of range and Neal only half commits.
Hideki throws out a counter right but Neal avoids it with no problem.
Neal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hideki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hideki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Neal looks to land a combination but Hideki avoids it well.
Hideki moves away from the strike by Neal.
Hideki swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Neal misses with a hook.
Neal thows a leg kick but Hideki checks it
and Hideki counters with a straight right hand.
Neal misses with a hook to the body
and Hideki counters with a straight right hand.

Neal is rocked!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Byron Neal dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Neal throws a lazy head kick
and Hideki rattles Neal with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Neal tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Hideki dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Neal stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nagatsuki Hideki!
Nagatsuki Hideki decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
