Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sinere Semper (ranked 25633 p4p, 3679 weight class) and Gord Pettinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sinere Semper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gord Pettinger!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semper has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pettinger finds it's way round the side to connect with Semper's head.
Semper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pettinger cracks Semper with an uppercut from hell and Semper crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Pettinger's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Semper is rocked!
It looks like Sinere Semper has been cut.
Pettinger content to stall in guard here.
Pettinger passes easily into side control. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pettinger has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Semper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pettinger on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pettinger controlling from the full mount.
Pettinger stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Pettinger is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pettinger lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gord Pettinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Semper takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Semper is breathing heavily.
Pettinger circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Semper tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Pettinger wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gord Pettinger!
An out of breath and clearly excited Gord Pettinger thanked Island clothing lite for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
