The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathyus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
spencer tries to bum rush Mathyus with a series of wild strikes but Mathyus uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mathyus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

No joy there for spencer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd cheers as Mathyus lands an impressive looking overhand right. spencer doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like andrew spencer has been cut.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Mathyus throws an absolute beast of a head kick! spencer is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
