Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 1984 p4p, 1666 weight class) and Henrique Rosa (ranked 265 p4p, 234 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henrique Rosa!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant misses with a shot to the body
and Rosa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rosa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Durant.
Rosa swats away the attempt to clinch by Durant.
Rosa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Durants jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Durant misses with a hook. Rosa ducked under it nicely.
Rosa staying out of range there.
Durant throws a leg kick
and Rosa counters with a body kick that stops Durant in his tracks momentarily.
Durant fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good exchange - Durant coming out on top.

It looks like Henrique Rosa has been cut.
Rosa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Durant fails with an attempt to clinch.
Durant doesn't manage to clinch there - Rosa circles away.
Durant misses with an uppercut
and Rosa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Durant looks to land a right hand but Rosa moved out of range.

Durant lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rosa has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Rosa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Rosa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Durant swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rosa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Durant's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rosa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Durant scrambles back to his feet.
Rosa lands with a hook. Durant tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Durant throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rosa.
Nice straight punches there by Rosa. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rosa.
Durant jabs Rosa right on the nose. Rosa blinks but takes it well.
Rosa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Durant's sensitive parts.
Durant misses with a right hand
and Rosa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Rosa needs to keep his hands up - Durant had a free shot at his head there.
Durant connects with a right hand. Rosa shakes it off.

Rosa is rocked!
Durant is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Durant is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Rosa flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rosa is out cold! Durant holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

A less than humble Kevin Durant misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
