Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cactus Jack (ranked 4168 p4p, 22993 weight class) and Bjorn IronSide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bjorn IronSide is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

IronSide gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

IronSide escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

IronSide drives through and clinches with Jack against the cage.

IronSide's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jack avoids the head kick by IronSide.
Jack attempts a counter takedown but IronSide avoids it well and moves away.
IronSide pushes Jack away with a front kick.
IronSide lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

IronSide gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jack goes for a takedown attempt but IronSide pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

IronSide is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jack can't fight it off and eventually IronSide manages to take the fight to the floor. Jack looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jack is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. IronSide gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
IronSide wants to control from the top but Jack keeps moving.

Jack is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. IronSide is aware though and is defending well.
Jack can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as IronSide controls the pace.

IronSide thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jack working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. IronSide doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. IronSide manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
IronSide slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jack is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jack has his foot on IronSide's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. IronSide works his way back into a safe position though.
IronSide trying to control the position from guard on top but Jack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

IronSide must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
IronSide stopping the sweep attempt from Jack.
IronSide would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
IronSide not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
IronSide loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jack looking for a guillotine here but IronSide defends easily.

Jack has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. IronSide doesn't defend quickly enough and Jack has managed to lock this one up! Can IronSide escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jack on a fantastic submission victory.
