Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maximus Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez throws the kick towards the body but Souza avoids it.
Souza lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Maximus Gonzalez has been cut.
A left lands for Gonzalez.
Gonzalez tries to land a front kick but Souza steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Souza comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gonzalez moves in looking to clinch but Souza pushes him off.
Souza clinches up with Gonzalez and pushes him back against the cage.
Souza softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Souza jumps into guard, dragging Gonzalez to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Souza is on top in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Souza's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Souza passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzalez is trying to get back to half guard.
Souza gets to mount! Gonzalez was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Gonzalez is trying to control the position here but Souza swings around for an armbar and he's got it! This one is all over, courtesy of a slick submission by Souza!
