The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganozri moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Runner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ganozri swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Runner moves to clinch but Ganozri breaks away

and Ganozri counters with a takedown into side control.
Runner pushes Ganozri away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ganozri gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Ganozri throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Runner is pushing Ganozri's head away, looking to escape. Ganozri manages to hold on to the position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ganozri cracks Runner with a big right hand but Runner just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
