Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big Boy!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy stuns Joe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Boy lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Joe avoids the body shot from Boy.
Boy lands an overhand right.
Boy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Buddah Joe has been cut.
Joe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boy.
Joe throws a head kick that misses.
Boy lands the left hand.
An inside leg kick from Joe misses.
Boy steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Joe.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy swings widly with a right hand
and Joe counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Boy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Joe moves into full mount! Boy won't be happy about that!
Joe tries to control but Boy wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe avoids the attempt from Boy to control.
Joe controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boy tries to improve his position but Joe has taken his back! Joe has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Boy tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Joe pushes Boy away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Buddah Joe!
