The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byczkiewicz misses with a looping left.
Gomez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Byczkiewicz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gomez scrambles back to his feet.
Byczkiewicz defending well as Gomez loads up on a big left hand.
Byczkiewicz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gomez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gomez throws a front kick aimed at Byczkiewicz's knee but Byczkiewicz avoids it well.

A looping hook to the body misses from Byczkiewicz. Gomez does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd cheers as Byczkiewicz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gomez doesn't seem phased though.

Byczkiewicz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Byczkiewicz counters with a crisp right that sends Gomez to the canvas! Byczkiewicz follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
