Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Kersikov (ranked 2 p4p, 40 weight class) and Mike Haggar (ranked 2 p4p, 8 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Head of the Table. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Haggar!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Haggar.
Kersikov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Haggar lands a jab to the head.
Kersikov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Haggar scores with a nice right hand.
Kersikov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Mike Haggar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Haggar is defended easily by Kersikov.
Kersikov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Haggar.
Haggar looks to land a combination but Kersikov avoids it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Haggar! Kersikov is hurt baaadly! Haggar is firing away with more strikes - Kersikov is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
