Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nori Voluspa!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Voluspa is defended easily by Yrkje.

Voluspa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Yrkje was covering up waiting for the punch and Voluspa finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Voluspa throws a strike but Yrkje avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Yrkje stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yrkje wants it to stay on the feet.
Voluspa shoots in and drives through. Yrkje sprawls well.

Voluspa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yrkje's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yrkje will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Yrkje walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Voluspa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Voluspa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Yrkje had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Voluspa defends it easily.
Voluspa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yrkje's head.

Yrkje has his feet on Voluspa's thighs here. He's pushed Voluspa off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Voluspa screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
