Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Palmotic (ranked 280 p4p, 431 weight class) and Oscar Gage (ranked 42 p4p, 66 weight class). Palmotic comes to the cage accompanied by One day I'll be king. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gage is trying to drag Palmotic to the mat but Palmotic just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Gage takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Gage wants to clinch up but Palmotic keeps it at a distance.
As Gage backs away, Palmotic returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Palmotic stuns Gage with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gage goes for a double leg but Palmotic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Palmotic continues to drive forward.

Palmotic fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gage has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Gage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Palmotic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gage seems to have recovered his senses.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Palmotic! Gage is out on his feet! Palmotic rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gage is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gage is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
