Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jacky Gane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yves Musasa!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musasa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gane was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Musasa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gane circles away.
Musasa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gane to score with a decent uppercut.
Gane lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Yves Musasa has been cut.
Gane lands with a cross.
Musasa explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Musasa tries for a takedown but Gane circles away easily
and Gane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Musasa takes one to the chin there.
Musasa is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Gane has cracked Musasa with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Gane lands another huge swinging hook and Musasa tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Musasa, before Gane can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jacky Gane!
