Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sid Vernon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaki Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimura has chosen Yankee Station as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Masaki Kimura!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kimura tries to clinch up but Vernon circles away and keeps his distance.
Vernon connects with a solid leg kick.
Vernon throws a head kick that misses.
Kimura throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kimura keeps the fight on the outside.
A jab-cross combination lands for Vernon and sends Kimura crashing to the mat! Vernon follows him down to the mat - Kimura regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Kimura is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vernon trying to pass the guard but Kimura defending well.
Kimura is still in real trouble! Can Vernon finish him?
Vernon uses his free foot to push down on Kimura's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kimura.
Vernon wants to control the pace but Kimura is squirming around nicely.
Kimura seems to have recovered his senses.
Vernon raining down shots from the mount!
Kimura is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Vernon has taken his back.

Kimura is trying to defend against the choke here but Vernon has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Vernon Tightens the hold and Kimura taps out furiously! Vernon displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
