Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexanda Riverriei (ranked 4618 p4p, 4436 weight class) and Jacky Gane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

It looks like Alexanda Riverriei has been cut.
Gane fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Riverriei sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gane somewhat.
It looked like Riverriei was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Riverriei closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gane did well to prevent Riverriei getting side control.
Gane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Riverriei's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Riverriei's back!
Riverriei could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gane slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
