Amokrane comes into the arena with Fataat al khair blaring out of the sound system. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Amokrane.
Amokrane throws a leg kick that misses.
Amokrane lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Matthews backs up against the cage.
Amokrane cracks Matthews with a right hand to the side of the head.
Amokrane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Matthews has managed to clinch.
Matthews stalling the fight.
Amokrane blocks the elbow strike.
Amokrane has had enough of the clinch but Matthews keeps him there for the moment.
Amokrane is trying to break the clinch but Matthews is controlling him.

Matthews turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Matthews manages to end up in side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Matthews advances to mount.

Matthews looking to isolate an arm here. Amokrane doesn't see it coming and as Matthews extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Matthews!
