PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ditlev Truelsen (ranked 4518 p4p, 4531 weight class) and Cerimus Maksimus (ranked 0 p4p, 448 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Truelsen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Truelsen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Maksimus knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Truelsen passes the guard and advances to mount!
Maksimus is controlling an arm, preventing Truelsen from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Maksimus is trying desperately to improve position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maksimus holds on for dear life, controlling Truelsen's posture momentarily.

Truelsen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Maksimus can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Truelsen working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Maksimus is doing well to defend. Truelsen seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Maksimus is forced to tap and this one is over!

A less than humble Ditlev Truelsen misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
