The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jakobsen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Winner gets a clinch.

Winner has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jakobsen uses from the top position.
Winner controls Jakobsen momentarily but Jakobsen frees himself.
Jakobsen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Winner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jakobsen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Winner looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Winner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jakobsen on the ground.

Jakobsen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Winner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Jakobsen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Winner is trying to escape and Jakobsen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Winner is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jakobsen! Very nice indeed!
