Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Brandt (ranked 4283 p4p, 4349 weight class) and Herleifur Valtysson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Brandt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Herleifur Valtysson!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandt has Valtysson up against the cage in a clinch.
Valtysson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brandt after a bit of a struggle.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brandt takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Valtysson is looking for a takedown.
A bit of stalling here from Brandt.
Brandt manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Brandt gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Brandt gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Brandt is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Valtysson gets full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valtysson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Valtysson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brandt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brandt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Valtysson is trying to keep Brandt in close.
Valtysson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Valtysson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brandt defends it easily.
Valtysson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Brandt defends well.
Brandt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Valtysson, up you get!

Brandt rushes Valtysson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Valtysson is working for takedown but Brandt is calmly controlling the position for now.
Frank Brandt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herleifur Valtysson.
Valtysson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Brandt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Brandt tightens his grip and picks Valtysson up, before dumping him to the ground. Valtysson manages to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brandt avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Brandt has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Valtysson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Brandt is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Valtysson pulls down on the head and he's put Brandt to sleep! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Herleifur Valtysson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
