PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lieutenant Nog (ranked 1876 p4p, 2308 weight class) and Lothar Matthaus (ranked 282 p4p, 345 weight class). Nog comes to the cage accompanied by House of Pain - Put on Your Shit Kickers. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nog throws out a leg kick but Matthaus moves out of range and Nog only half commits.
Despite the aggression on Matthaus's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Matthaus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Matthaus struggles to land a body shot inside as Nog controls his hands.
Nog wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Matthaus has him pressed against the cage.
Matthaus lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Matthaus pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nice uppercut lands for Matthaus. That snapped Nog's head back.
Matthaus tries to close the distance and clinch but Nog swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nog feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Matthaus sprawling to the canvas! Matthaus rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nog finish him?!

Matthaus is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matthaus is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Nog doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Matthaus crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Matthaus's bad books for that mishap!
