Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Angulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.

Angulo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee throws a good cross that connects.
Angulo tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range.

Rufus Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rufus Lee will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Rufus Lee's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Angulo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Angulo throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lee looks to throw the jab but Angulo is out of range.
Lee circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Angulo to the canvas! Angulo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lee keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rufus Lee!
