Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Wellington (ranked 4768 p4p, 4760 weight class) and Kenny Wells (ranked 552 p4p, 550 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wellington shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wells sprawls well. Wells wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wellington gets slowly back to his feet.
Wellington throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wells's waist but Wells gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wellington off to one side.
Wells tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wellington swivels and escapes.

Wells gets caught napping as Wellington dives in and scores a takedown. Wells manages to retain guard.

Wells manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Ken Wellington will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Kenny Wells.
