Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Johnny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryder Morningstar!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morningstar looks to land a right hand but Johnny moved out of range.
Morningstar fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morningstar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnny moves away.
Morningstar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Morningstar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johnny. Johnny obviously looking to wear him down.
Ryder Morningstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morningstar takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Johnny throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Morningstar.
Morningstar misses with a wild combination.
A big right from Morningstar misses.
Morningstar swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Johnny moves into the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnny breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnny moves out of range as Morningstar strikes.
As Morningstar looks to move away, Johnny throws a big counter combo but Morningstar just gets out of the way.
Morningstar misses with a looping right.
Johnny avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnny avoids the head kick by Morningstar.
Morningstar takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Ryder Morningstar has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Morningstar.
Morningstar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnny moves away.
An attempted straight right counter from Johnny misses the target.
Morningstar misses the jab.

Johnny closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Johnny lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Johnny comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Johnny lands a nice elbow.
Johnny utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Morningstar wants to get back to striking at distance but Johnny won't allow it.
Johnny working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnny lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Johnny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Johnny steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Morningstar.
Johnny slips a jab and a cross from Morningstar.

Johnny clinches up against the cage.
Johnny lands a right hand that snaps the head of Morningstar backwards.
Morningstar wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Morningstar is trying to push Johnny away but Johnny has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Morningstar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Johnny keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Morningstar's efforts to push away.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Johnny takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Johnny is pushing Morningstar up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Johnny seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Johnny working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Johnny landing knees to the head.
Johnny lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Johnny has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Morningstar after a bit of a struggle.
The referee is keeping an eye on Johnny - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Johnny's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Morningstar misses with a head kick.
Johnny lands with a shot to the body.
Johnny avoids the head kick by Morningstar.
Johnny half committed to a counter leg kick.
Johnny lands a glancing blow to the side of Morningstar's head.

Johnny closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Johnny dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Morningstar wants to get back to striking at distance but Johnny won't allow it.

Johnny gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

That has opened up Ryder Morningstar's cut even more.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnny with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Morningstar is rocked!
Johnny scores with a nice hook to the head.
Morningstar is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnny finish him?
Johnny gets through Morningstar's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Johnny lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Johnny dips a shoulder and cracks Morningstar with a mighty uppercut! Morningstar falls back against the cage and Johnny unloads with a barrage of strikes! Morningstar is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Johnny screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Johnny!
