The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Difelco shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dick pinned against the cage. Dick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Difelco shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Jake Difelco has been cut.

Difelco is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dick's half guard.

Difelco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dick as he jumps to the side.

Difelco shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dick's guard.

Difelco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Difelco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dick is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Difelco is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Difelco can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dick is looking to escape.
