Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've been told by Barber's head coaches at K.O MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Barber misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barber misses with a low kick.

Barber lands a big head kick that sends Davis tumbling to the mat! Barber takes a step backwards and waves Davis back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like James Davis has been cut.
Ronny Barber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barber throws the left hand but Davis avoids the punch easily.
Barber swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Davis counters with a two punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Davis scores with a three punch combo!
Davis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Barber swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Barber connects with a good right hand that stumbles Davis . Davis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Barber lands a head kick. Davis smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Barber turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Davis .

Barber looks to land a body kick but Davis moved away.
Barber takes a swing at Davis 's ribcage but misses.
Davis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Barber tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis misses with a few strikes there.
The fighters circle, before Barber throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Davis 's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Barber lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
