The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaspard has managed to clinch.
Wyatt is trying to force a seperation but Gaspard has the dominant position.
Gaspard jumps into guard, dragging Wyatt to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wyatt wants to stand but Gaspard is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gaspard is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Wyatt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gaspard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wyatt wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gaspard's closed guard. He's half up but Gaspard has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gaspard pivots and extends the arm, Wyatt falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gaspard! Well done that man!
