Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tam Yu Tai (ranked 20 p4p, 292 weight class) and Nova Lankinen (ranked 3 p4p, 43 weight class). Yu Tai comes into the arena with Invincible Pole Fighter blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tam Yu Tai!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nova Lankinen!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu Tai fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Nova Lankinen has been cut.
Lankinen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yu Tai manages to avoid it.
Lankinen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yu Tai throws out the jab.
Yu Tai uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lankinen.
A little feinted left hand from Yu Tai on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Yu Tai swings for the body but Lankinen moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lankinen! But no joy.
Yu Tai throws a shot to the body.
Lankinen misses with a lunging right hand
and Yu Tai makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A jab from Lankinen misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lankinen misses with a wild body shot.
Yu Tai walks into a jab.
Yu Tai lands with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yu Tai lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lankinen will feel that in the morning.
Yu Tai drops Lankinen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lankinen looks back up at him and smiles so Yu Tai waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lankinen is rocked!
Some wild striking there from Yu Tai.
Yu Tai is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Lankinen hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tam Yu Tai!
Tam Yu Tai retains his welterweight title!
After winning the bout, Tam Yu Tai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
