The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gore feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lygres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lygre drives through and clinches with Gore against the cage.
Lygre struggles to land a body shot inside as Gore controls his hands.
Gore is working Lygre over against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Gore.
Gore tries to throw a body punch but Lygre avoids it by throwing Gore back against the cage.
Gore is working Lygre over against the cage.

Lygre pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gore fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gore lands a head shot.
Lygre dives in and grabs Gore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gore pushes down on Lygre's head and hops out.
We've been hearing reports that Gore has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lygre walks into a stiff left hand from Gore.
