Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Dean!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Randy forces Dean back against the cage and clinches.
A right hand to the body from Randy.

Dean breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dean gets tackled into the cage by Randy. Randy maintains the clinch.
Randy manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Randy dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Randy - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Randy seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Randy throws a head punch that misses.

Randy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Randy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Dean has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Randy is proving hard to escape from.
Dean postures up.
Dean wants to get up but he can't break Randy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Randy is looking for a triangle but Dean pushes his legs off easily.

Randy looking for a guillotine here but Dean defends easily.

Randy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dean stands up from Randy's guard - Dean perhaps looking for a knockout.
Randy moves out of range as Dean strikes.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dean swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Randy is looking to clinch but Dean is avoiding it.
A jab from Dean finds it's way through Randy's defenses.
Randy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Randy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dean to score with a decent uppercut.
Randy lands with a nice body punch.
Dean gets in close and tags Randy with a short punch that almost sends Randy to the mat! Oh Randy is in big trouble! He turns his back on Dean, trying to create some distance but Dean rushes him, striking wildly and Randy goes down! The referee tackles Dean into the cage to end the fight! Dean is one violent man!
