Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Desimir Krbavski!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krbavski drives through with a takedown into Nakamura 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Krbavski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Krbavski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nakamura manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Krbavski has Nakamura in his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krbavski is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Nice body punch from Nakamura - that landed with a thud.

Krbavski is working for takedown but Nakamura is calmly controlling the position for now.
Krbavski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nakamura walks away with a smile on his face. Krbavski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nice uppercut lands for Nakamura . That snapped Krbavski's head back.
Nakamura cracks Krbavski with a good jab.
A chopping leg kick lands by Nakamura .

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Nakamura clobbers Krbavski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krbavski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Krbavski is looking for a kimura but Nakamura is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Krbavski to get the leverage.

Krbavski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nakamura doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Krbavski.
Nakamura wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nakamura tries to roll over but Krbavski keeps him under control.

Krbavski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Krbavski is working for a submission of some sort.
Krbavski prevents Nakamura from improving his position.

Krbavski in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Nakamura tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Krbavski!
