Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wellen Dowd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Svenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svenn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. We Taking Over kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svenn stuffs the takedown attempt from Dowd. Dowd gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Svenn has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Svenn and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dowd drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Dowd got a little sloppy there for a moment and Svenn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dowd has managed to get both his arms back between Svenn's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Svenn is in a horrible position here. Dowd smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Dowd is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Svenn is surviving well by controlling Dowd's body position as best he can.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tom Svenn just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Svenn shoots in and bounces Dowd off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
