The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Matthews fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pedro Rojo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Matthews looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rojo thows a left - swing and a miss!

Rojo sends Matthews crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rojo is motioning to the referee to let Matthews up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Matthews is rocked!
Rojo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Oh Matthews is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rojo steps in with a hook that catches Matthews right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Rojo follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Matthews looks absolutely devastated.
