Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Dude (ranked 1370 p4p, 3938 weight class) and Randy Big Time (ranked 163 p4p, 410 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dude moves into range and clinches up with Big Time.
Dude has Big Time pressed against the cage, preventing Big Time from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Dude misses with some punches.

Big Time breaks the clinch.
Dude is looking to clinch.
Big Time throws a counter combo.
Dude misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dude throws a lazy uppercut
and Big Time cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Heavy Dude has been cut.
Dude moves in looking to clinch but Big Time pushes him off.

Dude closes the distance and pushes Big Time back into the cage.

Big Time breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dude scores with a punch to the head.

Dude misses with a shot to the body
and Big Time counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dude swings for the body but Big Time moves out of range.
Dude scores with a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Big Time throws a big shot that misses.
Heavy Dude seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Big Time moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Big Time ducks under a wild hook from Dude.

Dude misses with a straight right.
Dude clobbers Big Time with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dude scores with a hook to the body. Big Time takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dude lands a jab to Big Time's midsection.
Big Time misses the shot to the body.

Dude drops Big Time with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Big Time looks back up at him and smiles so Dude waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That has opened up Randy Big Time's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Big Time moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Big Time avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Big Time! But no joy.
Dude throws a jab when Big Time was well out of range.
Dude pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Big Time looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dude moves to clinch but Big Time breaks away
and Big Time counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Big Time swats away the attempt to clinch by Dude.

Big Time scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Dude tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dude looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dude throws an overhand right that lands on Big Time's shoulder, as Big Time tries to avoid the shot.
Big Time looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dude misses with an uppercut
and Big Time counters with a straight right hand.

Heavy Dude's cut is getting worse.
Dude tries to clinch up
and Big Time counters with a head kick. That will keep Dude thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Dude throws a combination that misses
and Big Time counters with a good, hard body kick but Dude shrugs it off.
Big Time misses with a looping right.
Big Time throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Dude to counter with a crisp jab.
Dude looks to score with a jab to the body but Big Time is just out of range.

Dude misses with a body punch
and Dude takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dude throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Big Time stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Dude clinches.

Big Time escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Big Time fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dude on the side of the head.
Dude moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dude works the jab nicely.

The cut above Randy Big Time's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A cross from Dude lands.
Dude uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Big Time.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Heavy Dude's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

and Big Time counters with a crisp right that sends Dude to the canvas! Big Time follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
