Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bigi Boi Chai (ranked 576 p4p, 552 weight class) and Antti Railio (ranked 33 p4p, 32 weight class). Chai kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dirt. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Railio!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai swings widly with a right hand
enabling Railio to counter with a crisp jab.
Chai misses with a kick to the body.
A little jabbing left from Railio on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Chai throws a good cross that connects.
We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The fighters circling - Chai throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Chai misses with a hook. Railio ducked under it nicely.

Chai comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Railio stuns Chai with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chai gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Railio.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Railio lands with a nice combination. Chai backs away looking to recover.

Chai darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Chai throws a combination that misses
and Railio counters with a straight right hand.
Chai throws a head kick that Railio semi-blocks.
Chai scores with a kick to the midsection.
Chai throws the left hand but Railio avoids the punch easily.
Chai misses with a looping left.
Chai's corner calls for a 1-2. Chai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Chai counters with a nice low kick that buckles Railio's knee momentarily.
Railio catches Chai with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Railio counters with a right hand to the body.

Chai will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Railio might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Chai has got the better of the exchanges.

and Railio cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Railio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Chai lunges at Railio with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Railio's hand.
Railio darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Chai's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Railio before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
